Duo Mobile Setup

Go to www.gordonstate.edu

 Gordon Homepage

 

Scroll to the bottom of the webpage and click on Gordon Email.

 Select Gordon Email

 

 Sign in with your Gordon Username (incl. @gordonstate.edu) and password.

You will see the Duo Security setup page. Click Get Started.

On the First, add a device page, click the Duo Mobile (Recommended) link.

Enter your cellphone number on the next screen and click continue.

Next confirm you have entered the correct phone number.

Click either App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) and install the DUO mobile app. AFTER you have installed DUO mobile click the “Next” button.

When you click on Next a QR code will be displayed on your screen. This QR code is specific to your account so keep it safe and do not share it with others.


*NOTE: THE QR CODE IN THIS SETUP GUIDE WILL NOT COMPLETE THE SETUP. YOU MUST GENERATE A UNIQUE CODE IN ORDER TO PROCEED.*

Open the DUO Mobile app on your cell phone can scan the QR code to complete adding your Gordon State DUO account.

If you are creating your DUO account on your cell phone, use the “Get an activation link instead” option. A text message will be sent to the phone number you registered. Click that link to complete adding your DUO mobile account on your phone.

Check Email

 

Open email on your cell phone and click “Activate Duo Mobile” button to complete adding your account on your cell phone. Use the “Open in App” option if you are presented with one.

If you have done everything correctly you will see a “Setup completed!” message and you are ready to use Duo Mobile!
