Advancement and Alumni Relations Department

Helping Gordon State College Grow

"Advancement" is the term used to describe the various efforts to build relationships that advance the aims of Gordon State College.  As a result, the Advancement Department encompasses many different programs and activities, all with one common purpose: building a stronger Gordon State College, one that is known for its past successes and respected for its future promise.

The Gordon State College Office of the President is hosting a series of quarterly roundtables to amplify the voices of those uniquely positioned to address the needs of our region and drive business growth and investment in Central Georgia. These discussions bring together local and regional stakeholders, industry experts, investors, and philanthropists to explore opportunities that will propel our regional economy forward. We invite you to join us for these dynamic conversations, connect with like-minded  entrepreneurs, and discover ways to enhance, invest in, and expand our region for the collective benefit.

Contact advancement@gordonstate.edu to learn the current schedule for these events.

Our key functions include:

Alumni Affairs - forming bonds among Gordon State College graduates and keeping alumni connected with our school.

Development - pursuing public funding from the state as well as contributions from individuals and organizations.

Foundation Relations - working closely with the Gordon State College Foundation, an independent fund-raising group, to raise money to support the college's mission.
