Gordon Student Athletes Honored by NJCAA

Ten Gordon State College student athletes representing softball, soccer, and baseball have been named 2018-19 NJCAA Academic Student-Athletes.

The recognition honors academic performance throughout each athlete’s collegiate career and is based on cumulative GPA qualifications, first team, 4.0 GPA; second team, 3.8 – 3.99 GPA, and third team, 3.60 – 3.79 GPA.

Gordon State student athletes who were honored include, First Team, Demi Kiker, soccer; Matthew Eden, baseball; Second Team, Bounsavath Phanmanee, baseball; Jay Pendley, baseball; Third Team, Adam Leverett, baseball; Camryn Currie, softball; Matthew Deloach, baseball; Taylor Dykes, softball and William Felt, baseball.

“These student athletes show that they can excel on the field as well as in the classroom,” said GSC Athletic Director, Gary Sharpe. “Gordon is proud to have such dedicated student athletes participating in our sports programs.”
