Gordon State College Director of Career Services Dr. Tonya Moore was nominated by President Kirk Nooks to apply and participate in the University System of Georgia’s Executive Leadership
Institute (ELI). Moore attended her first ELI session on October 1, while representing Gordon State College at the ELI President’s Panel.
“Dr. Moore’s participation in the Executive Leadership Institute throughout the remainder of this
academic year is very well deserved,” said Montrese Adger Fuller, Vice President of Advancement,
External Relations and Marketing and Executive Director of the Foundation. “We are all proud of Dr. Moore, and know that she will do an excellent job.”
The ELI targets emerging USG leaders who have a combination of experience, education and core
leadership competencies that are essential to the USG’s future success. The ELI is designed to
accelerate the development of high-performing and high-potential leaders from across the USG by
providing valuable learning experiences and leadership challenges. The ELI also seeks to enhance self-awareness, broaden individual capabilities and further strengthen the USG’s leadership pipeline.
