Christopher Wright Named CIO/Information Technology (IT) Director

Gordon State College recently named Christopher “Chris” Wright as CIO/Information Technology (IT) Director.
Wright will be responsible for leading the institution in the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective IT services while ensuring alignment of all IT services with the college's mission and strategic goals.
“I am very excited to be joining the Gordon State community and look forward to working with faculty, staff and students to provide an exceptional experience and prepare students for future success,” said Wright.
Chris holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Augusta State University. Prior to accepting this position, Wright served as the IT Support Professional Manager at Georgia Institute of Technology- School of Chemistry and Biochemistry and the Systems Administrator Principal for the University of Georgia. Wright brings experience and a proven track record of success in the Information Technology area, which will be invaluable in meeting the departmental goals and objectives.
