Dr. Matthew Robison has been named Dean of Students at Gordon State College

In his role, Dr. Robison will be the Chief Conduct Officer for the college and will supervise Student Activities, Residence Life, Counseling and Accessibility Services, and the Student Health Center.
He was most recently the Director of Cultural and Community Centers at Kennesaw State University. Dr. Robison has served as the Dean of Students at Georgia Perimeter College on both the Clarkston and Dunwoody campuses and was the Assistant Dean of Students at Georgia State University.
Dr. Robison earned an Associate of Arts degree in Education from Itawamba Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Mississippi State University, a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from New York University and a Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies from Georgia State University.
“Dr. Robison brings a wealth of experience to the Dean of Students role,” said Dr. John Head, vice president for enrollment management and student affairs. “Dr. Robison is a highly respected professional in the University System of Georgia, and he is going to be a huge asset to Gordon State College.”
Robison lives in Atlanta and enjoys travelling, excercising and binge watching realty TV in his spare time.
