IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Students may access their student records by visiting Banner Web for Students. Detailed instructions for viewing your academic records, account information/balances, financial aid information, and much more can be found in the Banner Web for Students Quick Reference Guide.
Eligible students may register for classes during open assigned registration time periods after receiving advisement from their advisor. Students must be advised and advisors must release the student registration record before a student will be eligible to register during the assigned registration time. Once advised and the assigned registration time opens, students may register utilizing Banner 9 Self-Service Registration. Students may utilize the Banner 9 Self-Service Registration Step by Step Guide for instructions on utilizing Banner 9 Self-Service Registration. Please note that all students will be required to satisfy the Action Item requirement found in Banner 9 Self-Service Registration before registering for classes. Students may utilize the Satisfying the Action Item Requirement before Registration Guide to complete this requirement.
Students who are not eligible to self-register may still view their current schedule via Banner 9 Self-Service Registration. Steps for viewing schedules in Banner 9 can be viewed in A Step by Step Guide to Viewing Your Schedule in Banner 9 Self-Service Registration.
Gordon State College is excited to have implemented a Waitlist option for many of our high-demand courses. The waitlist option allows students to add their name to an official waitlist in Banner 9 Self-Service Registration for select courses that have already reached full seat capacity. Students who utilize the waitlist option are notified via their Gordon State College email when a seat becomes available in the selected course section. Seat availability is granted on a first-come first-serve basis and utilization of the waitlist option does not guarantee a student a seat in the course. Students may review the Waitlist Registration Guide for more detailed information regarding waitlisting.

The Registrar's Office, located on the first floor of Lambdin Hall (Rm 126), is responsible for maintaining the permanent records of students after they have enrolled, creating class rolls and grade reports, determining graduation lists, providing academic transcripts and enrollment verifications, processing requests for transient study, and assisting students with Veteran Benefits administered by the Veterans Administration (VA). This office is the primary contact for continuing and returning students.
