FEDERAL AID UPDATES

The "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" (OBBBA) is making significant changes to federal student aid programs nationwide. Click here to find more information about what these changes are and how they will affect you.

Don't have a FERPA Code?

The Family Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974 (Buckley Amendment) limits the type of information the Financial Aid & Veteran Affairs Office can release to third parties. Therefore, information regarding eligibility for aid, including type(s) and amount(s) of aid awarded is released only to the student applicant. Since an individual's identity cannot be verified by telephone, no information regarding aid awarded can be given over the phone.

Login to Banner Web to create a FERPA Code.

FINANCIAL AID ALTERNATIVES

There are times and reasons why a student may not be eligible for Financial Aid. Adult Learners may have already used their lifetime limits of financial aid, a student could not be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements, or the financial aid package offered to a student may not be enough to cover their total costs and additional financing would be helpful. There are options for students who need alternatives to financial aid.  Click HERE for additional resources to help you finance your college graduation goals.
