Provost's Council

Purpose:

The Provost's Council is the senior executive leadership team of the Office of Academic Affairs. The Council provides recommendations and support to the Provost/Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and processes that pertain to curriculum, faculty, and academic support services. As a body, this group provides vision, oversight and leadership for all functions within the academic enterprise of the college, including academic quality, student learning and assessment, and campus-wide administrative policy. Members serve as key advisors to the Provost on strategic matters, oversee their respective areas of responsibility, and help maintain communication and coordination amongst academic units as well as between the faculty and the Provost.
