These costs are based on attendance per academic semester. Please note that your individual costs will vary depending on the amount of credit hours attempted, type of learning style, individual course fees, program fees, and on-campus housing choices.
Cost of Attendance
A student's cost of attendance not only includes direct costs, such as tuition and fees which are charged to a student's account, but also indirect costs.
The indirect costs can include the following:
- Living Expenses (Housing & Food)
- Books & Supplies
- Transportation
- Personal Expenses
- Loan Fees
- Certification Fees

Mandatory Fees
Mandatory fees are regulated and approved by a fees committee, the University System of Georgia, and the Board of Regents. An explanation of their use can be found here.
Program Fees
Certain programs available at Gordon State College have additional charges along with paying normal costs. Students should see their program’s Dean or assistants for more information.
Miscellaneous Charges
These can include, but are not limited to: lost ID card fees, fax charges, on-campus parking tickets, library fines, dorm violations and fines, and sport-specific charges.
