Dual Enrollment Checklist

  1. Submit your GAfutures Funding Application

  2. Schedule a meeting with your High School Counselor to complete your Advising Worksheet

  3. Register for Dual Enrollment Orientation 
    Orientation will be held virtually for the 2022 year through Zoom at 6:00pm EST. You may register for July 28, August 2, August 4, or August 11. Henry County Students will attend orientation on August 8 at 6:00pm EST at The McDonough Center. Please use the link below to register for your time. We'll send you a link 48 hours before the event.

  4. Turn in your Advising Worksheet to your Dual Enrollment Coordinator to get registered for classes

    All Advising worksheets need to be turned in to Cindy Jacobs, Dual Enrollment Coordinator. You can email them to her at cynthiaj@gordonstate.edu or mail them to 419 College Dr, Barnesville, Ga 30204.

  5. Books

    The cost of books for DE students is covered through the DE program. Students will sign a rental agreement when picking up their books and books must be returned at the end of each semester. If they are not, a hold will be placed on your account and we will not be able to send your transcript to your high school or register for future semesters.

    Students can go to the bookstore with their student ID to pick up their books for the semester.
