Bachelor of Science in Nursing RN-BSN

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN Completion) is an articulation program which offers registered nurses the opportunity to obtain this degree through an RN-BSN Completion Program. The program emphasizes professional development, research, health promotion, community health, and leadership.

Beginning in the Fall 2021, the Gordon State College RN-BSN program will work with USG eCampus in a cooperative arrangement that will facilitate the utilization of resources by offering some of the required courses through eMajor. USG eCampus/ eMajor is a service unit of the University System of Georgia that assists SACSCOC-accedited USG instituitions in administering online degrees and credentials that address the workplace needs of Georgia.

The courses will be offered in an 8-week format to accommodate working professionals. Courses will be offered every semester, including spring, summer, and fall. The first three courses (Health Assessment, Nursing Research & Application, and Professional Nursing Practice) will be offered beginning Fall 2021. In Spring 2022 two additional courses, Leadership & Management and Community Health Nursing, will begin. In subsequent semesters, all five courses will be offered.

If you are interested in getting more information about this degree and the courses that will be offered, please e-mail the Director of Nursing, Samantha H. Bishop, at sbishop@gordonstate.edu
