Move-In Day Reminders

To ensure that your move in experience is enjoyable and runs smoothly, we have included some Move-in Guidelines that we ask each student to follow.

• Arrive only at your assigned date and time.
• Follow all signs and directions by Public Safety and staff members.
• Unload at designated “unloading areas” only.  
  • Once unloaded, please move your vehicle as quickly as possible to allow other students to move in.
  • We discourage the use of trailers or moving trucks as they take up a substantial amount of space and parking.
• Do not overload the elevator to ensure the elevator remains functional.
• Pack items in reusable plastic containers to cut down on cardboard waste.
• Break down all cardboard boxes and place them in designated locations only.
• Continuously bring trash to designated trash locations as you are unpacking.
• Do not leave trash sitting in the hallways, outside your door or outside of dumpster.
• Return the large bins to your community front desk to retrieve your GSC ID as there is a limited number of bins to assist with move-in.
