Welcome to the Office of Counseling and Accessibility
The mission of Counseling and Accessibility Services is to provide confidential counseling and disability services that serve the emotional, psychological and physical needs of students. These services include professional and culturally competent mental health counseling, crisis intervention and campus outreach and support.
The Office of Counseling and Accessibility is committed to providing an accessible environment for students to grow and develop while studying at Gordon State College. Our goal is to provide a positive experience and equal access to all programs and services.
The Counseling and Accessibility Office is a resource that offers several services to support students currently enrolled at Gordon State College. Services provided include personal counseling, case management and support for students with behavioral health concerns, Title IX Pregnancy Registration for Accommodations, and assistance for Students with Disabilities who qualify for academic accommodations.
The Counseling and Accessibility Services Office is located in the Student Center on the main campus in Barnesville. All services provided are available to currently enrolled students free of charge. This includes students enrolled in classes online and on satellite campuses.
