Bachelor of Science in Nursing Pre-licensure Program

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing Pre-licensure Program at Gordon State College is designed to prepare students for a rewarding career as registered nurses. Upon successful completion of the program, the unlicensed graduate is eligible to apply for licensure as a registered professional nurse after successfully passing the national licensure exam (NCLEX-RN). The mission of the Gordon State College nursing program is to educate professional nurses who are able to provide competent, quality, and holistic care that meets individual, family and community needs in a rapidly changing healthcare environment. The nursing program prepares the student for the challenges of this evolving environment through classroom, clinical, and simulation experiences.

Applicants to the program must be formally accepted to Gordon State College or already be attending the College. Applications to the BSN Pre-Licensure Program will be available online during the designated application period.
