Gordon State College offers classes at the Academy for Advanced Studies located in downtown McDonough. This site, known as the McDonough Center, is perfect for adults who must work around employment or family responsibilities, but is also conveniently located for traditional-age college students or dual enrollment students. Course offerings at the McDonough Center consist primarily of core curriculum and also provides an opportunity to complete most coursework required for an associates degree with a business or general studies concentration.
Students who have completed their associates degree can also pursue their four-year degree in Management and Administration or Interdisciplinary Studies in a hybrid-format that has been tailored for working adults. For more information on these bachelor programs click here.
Staff members are available on-site at the McDonough Center (Suite 501, formerly the Media Center) and can help with admissions, registration, dual enrollment and other student services.
