President's Letter
Dear Friends,
Thank you for being a part of our Gordon State Community! Gordon State has much to offer students, faculty/staff, and the community. We want you to be a part of it! Gordon State provides a great education at an affordable price, allowing us to change lives, communities, and family trees,
This year offers a fresh perspective as we launch our new Strategic Plan, Fast Forward. By focusing on students and helping them understand the value of a degree, we are providing them entry into unique sectors of the labor market. By uniting our talented faculty, committed staff, and a committed community to the success of our students, we are an unbeatable resource for life-changing education.
Here are just a few things happening on campus to look forward to for the upcoming year.
Living Learning Communities: an opportunity for students with similar career and life goals to live together and grow together.
Athletics: the last academic year Gordon experienced conference success in both women’s soccer and softball. We anticipate even more success in the coming year.
Fraternities and Sororities: Gordon is pursuing relationships with a variety of Greek organizations. We see them bringing another facet to the rich culture of Gordon State.
New degree or pathway offerings: We have recently added Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Service Industry Management, and Health Sciences. We continue to develop new career programs to serve our student careers.
