ACCREDITATION AND COMPLIANCE

Gordon State College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate and baccalaureate degrees. The Gordon State College Nursing Program has had full approval by the Georgia Board of Nursing since 1972. The program has had full, continuing accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) since 1976. Gordon State College began offering a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood/Special Education in 2006 and a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education in Spring 2016..
