Montrese Adger Fuller is the Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Gordon State College.

montrese-fuller.jpgAs Vice President of Institutional Advancement, Adger Fuller is responsible for directing Gordon’s institutional advancement, external relations, communications, and marketing functions.

Montrese Adger Fuller has close to 20 years of development experience while working at various higher education institutions. Before joining Gordon State College, Montrese Adger Fuller gained valuable experience while managing annual giving areas at Howard University in Washington DC and Emory University in Atlanta, GA. In 2008, Montrese became interested in the major gift area, and she began working at the University of Georgia where she became the first Major Gift Officer for the University of Georgia Griffin Campus while simultaneously working in the College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences in Athens, GA. Montrese was very successful, and raised a great deal of support for student scholarships and programs. In 2012, Montrese was promoted to Director of Development while managing the fundraising efforts for the 5 colleges that existed on the UGA Griffin Campus. In 2014, Montrese began working at Georgia Perimeter College as the Director of Development. She was then promoted to be the Executive Director of the Office of Institutional Advancement before Georgia Perimeter College consolidated with Georgia State University. Montrese successfully led the team during the consolidation, and became the Senior Director of Development at Georgia State University Perimeter College. Shortly after the consolidation, Montrese Adger Fuller and other colleagues in the division were instrumental in securing $14.5M gift which was the second highest gift in Georgia State University’s history.

Montrese earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University in New Jersey and a Master’s of Education in Psychology with Honors from Howard University in Washington D.C.

She is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and she has also lived in Washington Township, New Jersey in her earlier years. Montrese now calls Atlanta home after living in the area for 14 years with her family.

Our Office of Development seeks to help students meet their goals and dreams for their futures by securing scholarship support. This office also helps donors identify and fund programs and projects to accomplish our goal of advancing Gordon State College to better serve the people of Georgia.

Our Office of Public Information communicates the good news of Gordon State College by providing internal and external communications. This is accomplished through a program of print, audio, video, and electronic media.

Our Office of Community Education welcomes visitors to campus for non-credit community education courses and coordinates all events on campus. Internal and external groups rely on community education to make sure their events are free of scheduling conflicts and all needs are met.

Our Office of Alumni Affairs welcomes alumni back to campus each April for our annual Alumni Weekend. Class reunions and other alumni functions are planned through this office.
