COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY
Fall 2025 Commencement will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 in the Student Activities & Recreation Center (SARC).
- The ceremony will begin at 9:00 AM.
NO AIR HORNS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE CEREMONY.
APPLY TO GRADUATE
Any student who plans to graduate from Gordon State College is required to complete the Online Graduation Application process in Banner Web. Step-by-step instructions for the Online Graduation Application process can be accessed here. All applications will be reviewed by the Gordon State College Registrar's Office to ensure that all requirements for graduation are or will be satisfied by the anticipated date of graduation.
Students must submit their Online Graduation Applications no later than the official mid-term date of the semester prior to the anticipated semester of graduation. A student who plans to graduate at the end of the Spring Semester, for example, is required to submit an online application for graduation no later than the mid-term date of the previous Fall Semester.

REGISTER TO WALK
If your graduation application is approved, you will receive an email from Academic Affairs with important information. You will be prompted to log in to the Graduation Ceremony Registration System to verify whether or not you will be participating in the ceremony. Here you will also verify how your name should appear on your diploma and on the graduation program.
Please note: You must participate in the Gordon State College commencement ceremony in order to receive a Gordon State College diploma cover.

GRADUATION SURVEY
Please tell us about your experience with your program of study and your most recent (program) Academic Advisor at Gordon. The survey will be emailed to eligible graduates during the weeks before graduation.
