BLITHE SPIRIT

“Charles Condomine”, a novelist, and his wife, “Ruth”, have invited their friends and a local homicidal spiritualist, “Madame Arcati”, for dinner. Much to the surprise of the two couples, supernatural manifestations make the table tremble, Madame Arcati falls into a trance, and Charles hears the voice of Elvira, his deceased first wife... Hilarity ensues. Gordon State College's production includes a preshow of torch singing from popular music standards of the time, including Irving Berlin, Cole Porter and Kurt Weill.

Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare and adapted by Lisa Cesnik Ferguson is set Verona, USA. Two teenage "star-crossed lovers" teenagers from feuding families who fall in love but are destined for tragedy. Gordon Stage College's production includes music, dance and the fight choreography will be created by internationally recognized award-winning Fight Master, Scot Mann, who also teaches at Mercer College.
