Each semester at Gordon State we incorporate various intramural (IM) sports. IM Sports are where students can team up with each other to compete against other students, all in the name of fun. IM seasons typically last for a month and also include playoffs to determine the overall winner. If students want to take part in a sport that we are not currently offering they are encouraged to express that interest to our Recreation Staff and we can setup a tournament for that sport. Our current annual sports are:
- Flag Football
- Volleyball
- Basketball
- Soccer
We also take part in the Georgia Peach Classic flag football tournament each year. The winning team from the college is able to select any of the players from the league and take them to the state tournament. This past year the tournament was held at Georgia Southern in Statesboro, GA.
