Student Health Services
Changes for Fall 2024
Students will receive health services through our local partnerships with Lamar County Health Department and WellStar GME - Spalding.
Students may schedule two free appointments with the Health Department throughout the Fall semester. The student will need to schedule an appointment by visiting their website: http://www.district4health.org or calling (770) 358-1483. Students will need to bring their Gordon ID to verify their identity. The Health Department is open M-F from 8AM-5PM.
If a student has no health insurance then he/she is eligible to receive the following vaccines through state funding with an administration fee of $21.93 per vaccine.
TDAP
FLU
COVID
MCV4 (ages 19-21)
MenB (ages 12-23)
Hep B
Hep A
MMR
Varicella (ages 19 and up with no immunity)
HPV9
We also have a partnership with WellStar GME - Spalding to serve your other needs. These services are not free, but WellStar GME will take health insurance. WellStar GME will offer financial assistance if students are 18 years old and have no insurance coverage. Students must schedule an appointment with them as well by scanning the QR code on the flyer linked below or calling (470) 604-8250. This clinic is open M-F from 8AM-4PM.
