Counseling Services

The counseling staff educates students for life by providing a variety of services and programs. We believe that having a safe and confidential space for students to address their issues is important for personal growth and academic achievement. We all face many challenges in life and at some time find it difficult to sort through our options or make decisions. Supportive counseling allows you an opportunity to talk over what is on your mind with an objective person who can help you learn new skills and ways of looking at situations.

Services include short-term individual counseling, group counseling, crisis intervention, referral services as well as outreach programming, and consultation for faculty and staff at Gordon State College. All services are free of charge to currently enrolled students. This includes students enrolled in classes online and on satellite campuses.
