Paraprofessional Assessment

GACE testing will not be available from July 18th-July 27th 2024.

The GACE® Paraprofessional Assessment is taken by prospective and practicing paraprofessionals to demonstrate their knowledge in reading, writing and math and caability of assisting in classroom instruction.

• Appointment is required - allow 2½ hours for this assessment
  • Call the office to receive an informational email or send your request to:  testingcenter@gordonstate.edu before paying for the exam
• ID required - original government-issued ID with name, photograph and signature
• 90 questions in a computer-delivered format
• Cost - $50 (includes exam and administration fee) 
  
  • Online payment is required for this assessment prior to appointment
• Passing score for the paraprofessional assessment is 250
• You must allow 28 days before retesting
• Masks are strongly encouraged while on campus if you are not fully vaccinated
