She is currently pursuing her master’s degree online in English and creative writing at Southern New Hampshire University. She is expected to graduate in June of 2022.

“I am excited to join Highlander Nation. Gordon State College has always felt like home to me. The feeling of community and the commitment to academic excellence are apparent as soon as you step onto campus,” Pearson said. “Over the years, I have seen Gordon grow and become a catalyst for change in so many lives, including my own. I’m eager to be involved in this dynamic atmosphere and lend my service and support to all that Gordon State College, the faculty and staff, and the students will accomplish in the future.”

Pearson committed 21 years to serving the residents of Georgia by working with the State of Georgia Department of Human Services in various roles. During that time, she discovered a passion for helping others and aiding in their success.

GSC Vice President of Advancement, External Relations, and Marketing, Montrese Adger Fuller is glad to have Pearson join the team.

“I’m delighted to have Meagan as a new edition to our advancement, external relations, and marketing team. I am positive that she will help us move our fundraising efforts to the next level,” Adger Fuller said.
