Gordon State College is working to make it easy to return to the classroom by hosting a Quick Admit Day Tuesday, Oct. 27 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Quick Admit Day offers a one-stop shop during which advisers from admissions, financial aid, and academics will be on hand to personally assist adult learners with a college application, financial aid application, and questions about class offerings, academic programs, and free tutoring.
And while the event is targeted toward adult learners, anyone who is interested in attending Gordon State College and what courses are offered is invited.
An adult learner is anyone who is 25 years old or older or 20 to 24 years-old with fewer than 30 credit hours completed or someone who is more than five years past their high school completion.
The event will be held at GordonState@McDonough in the Academy for Advanced Studies, at the Henry County High School Complex, 401 East Tomlinson Street, McDonough.
