Gordon State College and the Henry County Library System recently agreed to combine resources to better serve Gordon State College students.
The McDonough Public Library will offer classroom space, a computer, and other research assistance needed by students enrolled in classes at Gordon State at McDonough.
"This is great for our students," said Sonya Gaither, Gordon State College director of library services and professor of library science. "It offers the students an opportunity to receive additional research assistance without having to come to the main campus."
There are approximately 300 students enrolled in classes at Gordon State at McDonough. Day and evening classes are held in a wing of Henry County High School on Tomlinson Street. For more information on Gordon State College classes offered in McDonough visit http://www.gordonstate.edu/henryco/home
