The HIM program at Gordon State College is a unique program which combines computer skills with managerial, business, research, and medical knowledge to collect, store, and retrieve medical information.

On a personal note, I have been a health information management professional for 10 years and have never become "bored" in my profession. There is always something new to learn, wonderful professionals to network with, and so many different directions on the career path.
