Job Summary:

The Logistics Analyst will be expected to leverage contracted carriers and outside capacity in order to cover shipments within a tight shipping window. Must maintain good working relationship with customers, carriers & vendors in order to mitigate problems. Will be expected to solve freight related issues, determine carrier capacity to maximize loads/profitability, develop metrics for external/internal reporting, and work with the internal team to achieve daily goals. Analysts will be asked to become proficient in the AS400/TMS software, must possess strong communication skills – written and verbal, be well organized with the ability to multi-task under time sensitive situations, and demonstrate strong customer service with a self-motivated willingness to learn. After hours on-call shifts may be required.
