Campus Visit Days

  • Friday, September 26, 2014 (1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
    Please arrive by 12:30 pm; the Campus Visit Day event begins at 1:00 pm. You will immediately be moving about campus with a lot of walking; so plan accordingly. We look forward to your visit!
  • Saturday, November 1, 2014 (9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.)
    Please arrive by 9:30 am; the Campus Visit Day event begins at 10:00 am. You will immediately be moving about campus with a lot of walking; so plan accordingly. We look forward to your visit!

Sign Up for a Campus Visit Day >

Our Campus Visit Day will begin in the Alumni Memorial Hall (Gym) and last about three hours. Financial Aid, Housing, Public Safety and several other departments will be presenting information to you. You will also have the opportunity to sit-in on an Academic Session and take a Campus/Dorm Tour. Please dress for walking across our beautiful campus.

New Student Registration and Orientation

Congratuations! You are Gordon Bound!

The New Student Orientation Program for Gordon State College provides incoming students and their families with a more informed understanding of Gordon State College resources, policies, and procedures. Key elements of the program include a sequence of staff- and faculty-led, brief information sessions for students and parents at various locations across campus, a group academic advisement session for students, and training and oversight of the course registration process. Students will then register for their classes at the conclusion of the program.

NOTE: Students are required to stay for the entire Orientation session in order to register for classes.

June 17 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
July 10 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
July 17 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
July 31 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
August 8 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Please have your vehicle tag information with you to receive a student parking permit.
The dining hall will be open for students, parents and guest to have lunch at a cost of $ 7..00 per person (tax is included).
